How do you find keywords, subject headings, synonyms, & related terms?
Read broadly on your topic area - you should have found many of these terms when you read for an overview of your topic. Make a list of:
Ask your Instructor or other knowledgeable person for the most important terms describing your topic
Look at the full bibliographic record for relevant books, articles, etc. They will contain many of the important terms for your topic. These terms are found primarily in the title, abstract, subject heading, descriptor, or identifier fields of bibliographic records.
