Determine availability

As you compiled your working bibliography, you were very likely obtained the full text of some of your materials at the time you selected them. However, most print and online access tools do not contain full-text items. A formidable amount of information is and remains only in the print medium.

Obtaining print items is a relatively simple process. To obtain print items you must take the following additional steps.

The only way you can do this is to search your library's online catalog. At the same time that you are determining ownership or accessibility, you will also find out most of the other data you need in order to retrieve the actual items.
