Use access tools to find information sources

The strategies for locating specific information sources vary depending on the access tool needed to find them. The three sections below will give you a brief overview of how to use the three main types of access tools to find the information sources you need:

Generally you will need to use more than one access tool because well-balanced research usually requires information from different kinds of sources. By this point you should know what type of information sources, e.g. almanacs, encyclopedias, etc. that you need.

Use the strategies presented in the sections above to compile a list of information sources which appear relevant to your project. Once you have made your list of relevant information sources you have completed Module 2.
